THE NATIONAL BUBBLE & MICROCAR MUSEUM

WRITTEN BY JOHN AND MARIE

During our recent holiday in the UK we visited The National Bubble and Microcar Museum at Langrick near Boston, Lincolnshire.

It’s a privately owned museum with a wide selection of cars from the 50s and 60s bubble car era with a few more modern examples thrown in for good measure. There are also feature areas dedicated to all manner of domestic type goods that would have been around in the bubble car heyday such as electrical goods, toys and games.

“Who remembers Brentford nylon sheets, hugely innovative for the era but tricky to sleep in, and candlewick bedspreads, the height of luxury”

Here are some photos of the displayed vehicles. See more - www.bubblecarmuseum.co.uk
